Rajasthan : Monsoon was fully active in the western regions of Rajasthan recently. After which there was heavy rain in many districts. While some eastern districts got relief from rain. But now once again monsoon is going to be active in eastern Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a strong possibility of monsoon being active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next one week.
There will be rain in all the districts from Jaipur, Bharatpur to Udaipur
Jaipur Meteorological Centre in-charge Radheshyam Sharma said that there is a strong possibility of monsoon being active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next one week. He said that during this period, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur divisions. According to him, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the districts of Kota, Udaipur and Jaipur divisions for the next five-six days. According to Sharma, there is a strong possibility of heavy rain and very heavy rain at some places in some parts of Kota, Udaipur divisions of southern and eastern Rajasthan during 25-26 August.
There is a possibility of rain in Jodhpur Bikaner till August 26
Radheshyam Sharma said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of western Rajasthan in the next two-three days. He said that there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some parts of Jodhpur division during 24 to 26 August. According to him, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at sporadic places in some parts of Bikaner division.
How much rain fell in Rajasthan
According to the centre, heavy rain was recorded in many districts including the state capital Jaipur in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Wednesday, the highest rainfall of 85 mm was recorded in Jaipur tehsil. Apart from this, 78 mm rain was recorded in Rajakheda of Dholpur, 65 mm in Gangdhar of Jhalawar, 42 mm in Kushalgarh of Banswara and 30 mm in Bhopal Sagar of Chittorgarh. From Wednesday morning to 5.30 pm, 40 mm rain was recorded in Anta of Baran, 35 mm in Sangaria and Chittorgarh, 22.4 mm in Jodhpur, 17.6 mm in Kota, 15 mm in Jaipur, 12.5 mm in Karauli, and 9.6 mm in Bhilwara. According to the centre, the maximum temperature in most parts of the state on Wednesday was recorded between 37.9 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, while last night the temperature in major places was recorded between 23.2 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius.
