Mumbai, 6 December (IANS). A suspect sprayed spray during the screening of Pushpa 2 at a theater in Mumbai. Due to this the health of the people present there deteriorated. The show had to be stopped for about 20 minutes.
The audience who came to watch the film at the Getty Galaxy Theater in Bandra claimed that after the intermission, a person suddenly sprayed pepper spray in the cinema hall due to which the people present there started coughing and some people started vomiting. After this the show was stopped immediately.
The police were informed. Investigation into the matter has been started. A video of this entire incident has also surfaced. In which people inside the theater are seen in distress. Can be seen coughing and moving here and there.
Pushpa 2 has been released pan India. People are also liking it a lot. The film is also breaking records and earning at the box office. Amidst all these positive news, the film is also in the news for some wrong reasons. Day One: A stampede broke out in Hyderabad and a woman died. An FIR has also been lodged against actor Allu Arjun in this case.
Actually, the allegation is that actor Sandhya reached outside the theater without prior notice. Seeing them, the fans went out of control and a stampede broke out in which the woman lost her life. His 9 year old son fainted. He is in the hospital and his condition is still said to be critical.
The film came into controversy even before its release. Recently, during a promotional event in Mumbai, Allu Arjun addressed his fan base as ‘Army’, for which a case was registered by a person named Srinivas Gaur. Gaur had filed a complaint against the actor at Jawahar Nagar police station in Hyderabad. He had objected to the use of the word ‘army’ for the fan base.
Srinivas, president of Green Peace Environment and Water Harvesting Foundation, had said in a video, “We have filed a complaint against Tollywood star Allu Arjun and requested him not to use the word ‘army’ for his fan base.
