Barmer News Desk: A policeman posted in Barmer died of dengue on Sunday. He had fever for the last 4 days. On Sunday, due to low platelets, he was being taken to Jodhpur through a green corridor. Died on the way. The soldier was given a guard of honor at the police line on Monday afternoon.
SP Narendra Singh Meena said – Mohanlal Panwar (32), working at police post Bishala, suddenly fell ill due to dengue on Sunday. We had referred it to Jodhpur after making a green corridor. He died just 8-10 km before Jodhpur. Despite suffering from fever, Mohanlal performed his duty very well. Went to Nand village on Sunday morning to arrest the accused. After this, his health suddenly deteriorated in the afternoon and he developed high fever. Then they brought him to a private hospital, Thar Hospital, in Barmer city. After investigation there, he was referred to Jodhpur.
Mohanlal was a resident of Baleva village of Shiv (Barmer). He joined the police in 2015. Till Saturday, Bishala was undergoing treatment in the government hospital of the village itself. When the situation became serious on Sunday, he was admitted to Barmer Hospital. When examined, platelets were around 50 thousand. Was referred to Jodhpur from here.
Last rites were performed with state honors
On Sunday night, Mohanlal’s body was shifted to the mortuary of Barmer Hospital. Police officials including SP Narendra Singh Meena reached the hospital mortuary on Monday. The police car was decorated with flowers and garlands. After postmortem, the dead body of the soldier was taken to the police line, where a guard of honor was given.
