Today we are going to introduce you to one such heritage, which is 221 years old, but it still stands with the same glory as it was before.

The name of this amazing historical heritage of India is ‘Jal Mahal’, which is in Jaipur. Actually it is a palace. Situated in the middle of Mansagar Lake on the Jaipur-Amer road, this palace was built by Sawai Jai Singh in 1799 AD. Before the construction of this palace, Jai Singh built a dam by constructing a dam on the pregnant river to supply water to Jaipur. Many films have been shot in this beautiful palace, including Sanjay Dutt’s Khalnayak and Abhishek-Ajay Devgan’s Bol Bachchan.

Situated in the womb of the Aravali Hills, Jal Mahal is also called the ‘Eye Ball’ due to its location in the middle of the Mansanar Lake. Apart from this, it was also known as the ‘Romantic Palace’. The king used this palace to spend special time with his queen. Apart from this, the Palace was also used on royal festivals. The most special thing about this five-story water palace is that only one floor is seen above the water, while the remaining four floors are under water.

That is why there is no heat in this palace. A beautiful view of the mountain and the lake can be seen from this palace. Especially on a moonlit night, this palace located in the water of the lake looks very beautiful. You will be surprised to know that more than one lakh trees are planted in the nursery of this water palace, which are protected day and night and about 40 gardeners are engaged in this work. This nursery is the highest nursery in Rajasthan with the highest trees. A large number of people also come to visit here.
