A tragic incident in Rajasthan, stray dogs mauled an innocent child, his condition is critical

Bharatpur : In Bharatpur, Rajasthan, a 5-year-old innocent was badly injured by dogs after being scratched in the street. This incident happened in Nadia Mohalla located in Kotwali police station area of ​​Bharatpur district. The video of which went viral on social media. At the same time, Rajasthan High Court has taken suo motu cognizance in this case. The court of Justice Indrajit Singh and Justice Bhuvan Goyal of Rajasthan High Court took suo motu cognizance on Wednesday (September 25), considering the matter serious on the basis of media reports. In the case, Justice Indrajit Singh said that there are dogs in our street too, we also have problems with this. He said that incidents of dog bites come to the fore every day. But even after that, the seriousness about it does not seem to increase.

No action taken even after complaint
Citing media reports, the court said that in this case too, the family had already informed the Municipal Corporation that there was terror of dogs in the street. But even after that no action was taken and the innocent child had to become their victim.

What is the government doing about this

The court said that Kerala has a policy regarding street animals. He asked Advocate General Rajendra Prasad, who was present in the court, whether the government in Rajasthan is considering bringing any such policy. Along with this, what steps is the government taking to stop these incidents. The court ordered to submit a detailed report on this.

In this case, the court has appointed advocate Pratik Kasliwal as amicus curiae. He told the court that there is terror of street dogs at many places in Jaipur city. Even my 14-year-old child is not able to ride a bicycle outside because of street dogs. We have complained about this to the corporation many times. But no action has been taken till date. In this case, the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission has also taken cognizance and issued a notice to the District Collector Bharatpur Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bharatpur and directed him to summon a detailed report of the case.
