A unique initiative of the jail administration, prisoners are getting training to make Shahi Sabzi and fast food

Jodhpur : Prisoners of Jodhpur Central Jail will no longer remain unemployed. After coming out of jail, prisoners will be able to do their own employment. A unique initiative has been started to provide employment to prisoners. Prisoners in Jodhpur Central Jail are being made skilled under the Skill Development Scheme. Jail Superintendent Pradeep Lakhawat said that after coming out, prisoners will get special help in rehabilitation. Under the program, 120 prisoners are being taught cooking tips.

Lakhawat said that women prisoners will also be able to become self-reliant after coming out of jail. He said that in the first phase, 30 women, 45 undertrials and 45 convicted prisoners are being trained. He said that most of the prisoners have one or two years left to serve their sentence. After coming out of jail, the prisoners will also be able to join the mainstream of society. The purpose of running a skill development scheme in the jail is to make the prisoners skilled. The prisoners are being taught to make Chinese, South Indian and special dishes.

Prisoners of Jodhpur Central Jail will spread the flavour of taste

The method of serving and decorating food is also being taught. The jail superintendent said that skill development is an ambitious scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The jail administration intends to prevent prisoners from getting involved in criminal activities again. After becoming proficient in cooking, the prisoners will be able to spread the flavour of cooking outside. After going out, the prisoners will be able to do small business of their own. Training has been started to make the prisoners skilled in cooking. The prisoners are also very excited by the initiative of the jail administration. In the training program, the prisoners are understanding the cooking tips in detail.
