A village in Rajasthan where villagers spend their nights in the light of lanterns, know

Alwar : There is a village where villagers have been spending the night in the light of lanterns for 5 days. The situation remains similar in Agar village, located about 15 km away from Thanagaji sub-division headquarters. Here, electricity supply has stopped in many offices, schools and health centers along with about fifty-sixty houses for the last five days. This situation has arisen due to the malfunction of the transformer installed near the government school of Agar village. Due to this, patients coming to hospitals, school children and villagers are facing a lot of trouble. While the responsible officers remain careless.

Due to interruption in power supply for the last 5 days, all the equipment including mobiles, batteries, charging bulbs of the villagers have been discharged. In such a situation, the villagers are forced to spend the night in the light of lanterns. At the same time, electricity of all the e-mitras of the village is also at a standstill. Due to which the villagers are facing problems. Due to power failure for five days during the season of mosquito-borne diseases, the possibility of spread of diseases has increased. Villagers are being bitten by mosquitoes due to electricity failure and fans being switched off, hence the fear of mosquito borne diseases has increased the concern of the villagers.

Villagers told that the transformer installed near the government school of Agar has the capacity of 25 connections but the department has loaded it with more than double the load. The villagers have been informed many times about the excessive load but the officials are not paying attention. Due to excessive load, three transformers have burnt down in just one week in the month of July. A report of transformer failure has been made and sent. Keeping in view the problems of the villagers, we will check the load on the transformer. A new transformer will be installed soon.
