Dausa News Desk: A dispute broke out over burning of firecrackers during a wedding ceremony. After a fight, a groom crushed nine people from the bride’s side with a car. The bride’s cousin died during treatment in the incident. There was an outcry on the spot after the incident. People were lying injured on the ground and screaming. The injured were taken to Lalsot Hospital, where after first aid, 7 people were referred to Jaipur in critical condition. Out of which 1 died during treatment.
Police is searching for the accused youth. The incident took place in Lalsot police station area of Dausa district. DSP Dilip Meena said- Kailash Meena, resident of Ladpura village, had his daughter’s wedding on Sunday. The wedding procession had arrived from Bhagwatpura in Niwai at around 9.30 pm. The wedding guests were bursting crackers by placing them on the car. Meanwhile, the bride’s brother was coming home.
When he asked the wedding processionists who were bursting crackers to give way, a dispute broke out between them. After that there was a fight between the bride’s brother and the wedding guests. After this, to take revenge, the wedding guests crushed 9 people from the bride’s side with their car. Of these, 7 people were referred to Jaipur in critical condition. Where bride Beena’s cousin Golu Meena (22) died during treatment. DSP said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused used a white colored i20 car to commit the crime. That car is registered in the name of a person named Mahendra. The CCTVs of the place from where the accused fled are being checked. Efforts are being made to nab the real accused by investigating as soon as possible.
