Barmer : In Barmer district of Rajasthan, a woman died while dancing due to her dupatta getting stuck in a generator. The women were taking Lord Krishna to the pond for boating. The devotees were dancing and singing bhajans. Meanwhile, suddenly the dupatta got stuck in the generator’s blades. After which the woman’s hair also got stuck in the blades and her head got burst and she died on the spot. During this time, people were making a video of the dance and a video of the incident was also made.
Women had reached the pond for boating
Actually, 36 year old Maafi Devi of Kundal village of Barmer district had gone to the pond with other women of the village to take Lord Krishna for boating. During this time everyone was dancing to the tune of DJ there. While dancing Maafi Devi suddenly reached near the generator, due to which her dupatta got stuck in the generator. Due to which the generator pulled her towards itself. After the dupatta, her hair also went into the generator. Due to which her head got torn, hair got pulled out from the skin and she died.
There was chaos, people ran away to the hospital
There were a large number of men and women present at the spot. Due to this, people immediately rushed Maafi Devi to the hospital, but as soon as she reached there, the doctors declared her dead. Hearing this news, the atmosphere of happiness turned into sorrow. The police got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family.
The 36-year-old woman was the mother of four children
The woman was 36 years old. She has three sons and a daughter. The family’s source of income is farming. On receiving the news of their mother’s death, the children started crying. Everyone was shocked to hear this incident. Because there was joy in the entire village due to this event being organized on the occasion of Janmashtami, but everyone was saddened by the woman’s death.
