After the death of his father, he took over the farming

After the untimely death of her father Darshan Singh in 2007, the responsibility of the house fell on Rimpi’s shoulders. After leaving the government job, she worked for some time in a private company, but was not able to manage the farming. Due to this, she decided to leave the job. She never saw any farming work while her father was alive, but due to circumstances, Rimpi Singh took charge of the farming.

Learned farming by reading father’s diary

Rimpi’s father Darshan Singh’s diary became a ladder of success for her, in which he used to write the daily activities of farming. The daughter imbibed her father’s diary in such a way that she left behind even the male farmers of the area in farming. Earlier she used to have a computer mouse in her hand, but now she has a tractor steering. Now by acquiring new techniques of farming, every year she is increasing the profit and making the women of the area proficient in farming. Her younger sister also helps in farming.

Drone Didi got recognition by name

The fame and hard work she got in farming day by day also made Rimpi Singh the Drone Didi of the district. Rimpi also got the privilege of becoming the Drone Didi of Kota in the series of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to connect women farmers with modern farming in the state. Already knowledgeable in computers, Rimpi got training and then started using drones in modern farming and becoming an advanced farmer.
