Ajmer News Desk: Angered by the action of ADA, a 32-year-old youth climbed on the water tank located in Prithviraj Nagar, Ajmer. The young man had threatened to commit suicide, accusing the ADA of harassing him. On receiving the information, Christian Ganj police station and ADA officials reached the spot. After police advice, the young man got down from the tank after about 5 hours. The police brought the young man to the police station and interrogated him. At the same time, ADA officials have assured the youth that his demands will be fulfilled.
In fact, on Wednesday, ADA removed encroachment from the land of Suleman, a resident of Chaurasiyawas located in Prithviraj Nagar. Angered by this, 32-year-old Suleman climbed onto the water tank located in Prithviraj Nagar on Thursday morning. The family members started searching for him. Later, on receiving information that Suleman had drowned, the family members reached there. On receiving information about the young man climbing on the water tank, Christian Ganj police station in-charge Arvind Charan reached the spot along with police personnel and advised the young man to get down. On receiving the information, ADA officials, Councilor Hamid Khan Civil Defense team also reached the spot. Explain that after about 5 hours the young man got down from the water tank.
Mother had to join hands and legs
The victim youth Suleman (32) told that he assured me of a hearing after which I came down. Yesterday also my mother Pappu Devi had fallen at the feet of the officials. I have been worried about my problem for 12 years. I am constantly making rounds of ADA. I don’t earn enough to go to court. Because of which I had to take this step today. Yesterday, despite all efforts, the crop was destroyed by ADA. This crop was grown by working as a labourer. My only demand is that land should be given on my ancestral land.
Left home after saying he was going to hospital, found climbing on tank
Mother Pappu Devi told that her son Suleman had left the house saying that he was going to the hospital. Left home around 6:30 in the morning. When we were searching for our son, we saw him climbing on the tank. After working as a daily wage son, he used to go to ADA and lodge a complaint. But no action was being taken by ADA. Due to which the son got upset and climbed on the tank today.
ADA removed encroachment on 3 and a half bigha land
Youth Shahabuddin (36) told that it is my younger brother Suleman (32) who has climbed on the water tank. They have been given assurance by ADA for 12 years. An assurance has been given to give a plot in exchange of land. Our land has been there since the time of our ancestors but now action is being taken against it through ADA.
We have 3 and a half bighas of land in Prithviraj Nagar. The encroachment was removed yesterday by ADA. Appeals were made to him with folded hands but no officer listened.
Many people of the village are worried, complained several times earlier
Councilor Hameed Khan told that a young man named Suleman, a resident of his ward, was climbing on the water tank. He has land in Prithviraj Nagar. Neither has they been compensated for their land, but the land has been taken over by the ADA people. ADA should be compensated for their land. This is the problem of the entire village. He had also given a complaint to ADA regarding this. But even a lice is not creeping into ADA’s ears.
