Aam Aadmi Party will end with Barnala by-election: Amarinder Singh

Barnala, November 17 (IANS). Campaigning is going on for the by-election to be held on Barnala Assembly seat of Punjab. Due to this, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh alias Raja Wadding campaigned in favor of party candidate Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillon on Saturday. During this, he also targeted Arvind Kejriwal and Sukhbir Badal. He said that the closing ceremony of Aam Aadmi Party will also be held in Barnala by-election.

Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh alias Raja Wading, while talking to the media, said, “Aam Aadmi Party was born in Barnala and Sangrur and people are seen standing with the Congress party in the Barnala by-election. Not only this, The closing ceremony of Aam Aadmi Party will also be held in Barnala by-election.

Taking aim at Arvind Kejriwal, he said, “It has been 3 years since the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab and during this time Arvind Kejriwal went to every corner of Punjab, but in these three years he did not take news from any area. Now that the by-elections have come, Kejriwal is campaigning here. As soon as the elections come, he remembers Punjab and its every area. In this by-election, people have completely rejected the Aam Aadmi Party.”

Amarinder Singh took a dig at Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal over his resignation. He said, “When the core committee of his party asked Badal to resign, he did not give it. I feel that Sukhbir Singh Badal may join BJP. This is the same thing that happened with Harsimrat Kaur in 2020. When the Central Government made black laws, Harsimrat Kaur Badal supported them, but later she resigned in view of the anger of the farmers.
