New Delhi, November 24 (IANS). Congress has geared up for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. The party is taking out ‘Nyaya Yatra’ under the leadership of State Congress President Devendra Yadav. He claims that ‘Nyaya Yatra’ is getting huge support from the public.
Congress leader Anil Bhardwaj spoke to IANS on Sunday regarding the third phase of ‘Nyaya Yatra’ and the assembly elections. He said that till now 40 assembly constituencies have been covered in ‘Nyaya Yatra’. The third phase of the yatra is being completed on 27th November. By then the Yatra will have passed through 49 assembly seats of five Lok Sabha. He said that the ‘Nyaya Yatra’ under the leadership of the State President is getting huge support. People are welcoming and sharing their problems.
Anil Bhardwaj alleged that in the last 10 years, Aam Aadmi Party has made only false promises to the public. The departure of AAP government from Delhi is certain next year.
It is noteworthy that elections will be held in Delhi early next year.
When asked about Congress leaders joining AAP, Anil Bhardwaj declined to comment. He definitely said that it is the individual himself who decides to stay in a party. He gave the example of Seemapuri where former Delhi minister Rajendra Pal Gautam left AAP and joined Congress and former Congress MLA joined AAP.
He said that the people of Delhi have rejected AAP. There is huge anger among the public against the Delhi government. The people of Delhi are joining the Congress under the Nyaya Yatra. I can say one thing that the people will bring change in Delhi in 2025. Your departure from Delhi is certain.
