Absconding accused in Barmer NDPS case arrested after 4 months

Barmer : Pachpadra police of Balotra district has arrested the wanted accused who was absconding in the NDPS case. The accused was absconding for four months. He is included in the top-10 accused of Pachpadra police station. At present, inquiries are being made regarding the purchase and sale of drugs.

According to the police, on receiving information from Pachpadra Police on July 22, SI Sura Ram along with Police Jabta took action against illegal drugs and recovered 7.80 kg of illegal doda-poppy. The accused Phusaram son of Chutraram, resident of Ghadoi Nadi Janiana Pachpadra was absconding. The police registered a case against him under the designated sections of the NDPS Act. Police raided various places in search of the accused.

Pachpadra Police Station Officer Amararam said – A team was formed at the police station level to arrest Phusaram. The team raided different places using technical and traditional policing. During this time, Phusaram son of Chutraram, resident of Ghadoi Nadi, Janiana Pachpadra was detained and arrested after interrogation. The accused is being interrogated regarding the buying and selling of poppy seeds. Head constable Jamin Khan, constable Mangilal, Chainaram were involved in the action.
