Jaipur : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers demonstrated at Jaipur Haridev Joshi Journalism and Mass Communication University on Monday with seven-point demands. During the demonstration, MLA Bhagchand Tankra, who was coming to attend the syndicate meeting, was surrounded by the students and did not allow him to go towards the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat. On this the MLA had to return to his car. The students alleged that the MLA got down from the car and threatened them and said, ‘If you talk nonsense, I will ram you.’ After this, the students sat in front of the MLA’s car and asked him to board it. The MLA remained sitting in the car for about 15 minutes. The police came and reasoned with the students. Finally Vice Chancellor Dr. Sudhi Rajeev came and took the memorandum from the students. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media, although it does not confirm it.
When the MLA stopped him from leaving when he sat in the car, he behaved rudely and said that if you talk nonsense, I will run over the car. We condemn this statement of BJP MLA.
I had no dispute with him. There was no talk of loading the vehicle. If there is any problem then a memorandum should be submitted together. Were blocking my path.
Memorandum has been taken from the students. Whatever their demand is. They will be resolved.
