Nagaur : Action to curb corruption in Rajasthan is continuing. The officers of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) are taking action day and night. The latest example of this has come from Didwana. Where on Wednesday night, ACB arrested an employee of Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) red handed while taking a bribe of 92 thousand rupees. This action taken by ACB late at night created a stir in the office. Now the ACB officers are engaged in further action in the case.
ACB action late night in Parbatsar subdivision of Didwana
According to the information received, the Anti-Corruption Bureau Jhunjhunu team carried out a major operation in Bidiyad town of Parbatsar subdivision of Didwana district tonight and arrested a bribe-taking employee red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 92 thousand. The accused Vijay Singh is working as a personal assistant employee in Makrana RIICO, where he had demanded one lakh rupees in the name of the regional manager, during which the ACB caught him taking bribe.

Additional Superintendent of Police of ACB Jhunjhunu Ismail Khan said that the complainant had recently complained to the ACB that personal assistant Vijay Singh was demanding a bribe of Rs 1 lakh in lieu of doing PMT of the complainant’s firm. The complainant said that the accused was harassing him for not paying the bribe amount of Rs 1 lakh.
Late night the accused was caught taking a bribe of 92 thousand rupees
On this, the complaint was verified under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Kaluram Rawat of ACB Jaipur and under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Ismail Khan of Jhunjhunu unit of ACB. After this, today the accused was caught red handed taking a bribe of 92 thousand rupees.
The arrested employee is being questioned
In this case, the accused is being questioned under the direction of ACB’s Additional Director General of Police Smita Srivastava. Also, ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and started investigation. Also, now searches will be conducted at his residence and other places.
