Jaisalmer : When the issue of fake grants to cow shelters in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan was heard in the Rajasthan Assembly, the government has decided to get the matter investigated by the ACB. It has been told that in the preliminary investigation, the grants to fake cow shelters have been stopped. Investigation is being done for further action. MLA Kalicharan Saraf also sought information from the government about how the grant of Rs 51 crore 23 lakh was taken in 2 years and how it will be recovered.
Irregularities found in 16 cow shelters
The House was informed that the entire matter has been investigated. In the physical verification, the District Collector did not find the number of cattle as shown. Massive irregularities were also found in 16 Gaushalas. The government has suspended the Jaisalmer Joint Director in this matter and taken action against animal husbandry assistants and doctors. The matter is related to corruption. In such a situation, the ACB has also been directed to recover the amount taken from it.
The issue of Muhana Mandi was raised in the assembly
Apart from this, MLA Kailash Verma raised the issue of mosque in Muhana Mandi in the assembly today and accused the market of being in bad shape due to the policy of appeasement. He said that an illegal mosque was built by occupying government land in the market. Mewati gangs and people of a particular community from Bihar, UP and Bangladesh have spoiled the atmosphere here. Illegal activities take place and violence takes place.
Due to the appeasement policy of the previous Congress government, this market has become a den of anti-social elements. People of a particular community live here. Farmers are looted. Minister Sumit Godara said that there is no such thing as encroachment. The arrangements in the market are smooth. On this, MLA Kailash Verma said that the minister does not have complete information. A committee should be formed to investigate this entire matter, and an assurance of investigation has been given on this.
