Jhunjhunu : Jhunjhunu The road from Mehada to Dudhwa-Shimla is in a dilapidated condition for the last three years. There are potholes at many places on the road. But in this road, about 3 kilometers of road has completely disappeared from Modi to Gorir and the saying is being applied on this that the road is not saved by potholes but by potholes. Local villagers told that there is lease and crusher area from Modi to Gorir. Where dozens of leases are running and dozens of crushers are installed. In this, more than 500 overloaded dumpers go to Haryana every day. Earlier this road was built according to the criteria of rural road. But the overloaded vehicles running on it full of stones, gravel and dust run overloaded like the National Highway. Due to which the road has been erased for about three kilometers from Modi to Gorir. There are only potholes.
When there is little rain, these potholes get filled with water and small vehicles face difficulty in commuting and accidents are happening every day. Due to this broken road, people living on both sides of the road are suffering from respiratory diseases due to the flying dust. About 3 kilometers of road from Gorir to Modi has been completely broken. Where there is no trace of road, accidents are happening every day due to potholes. The villagers have been demanding the construction of this road from the Public Works Department for almost 3 years. But till date this road has not been constructed.
