Jaisalmer : Police Station Sadar in Jaisalmer has revealed the incident of oil theft from transformer and arrested the accused youth from Jawandh village. Besides, the oil stolen from him was also recovered.
Sadar police station in-charge Bagdu Ram said – In the case of oil theft from the transformer installed in Javand GSS in the month of August, a 19-year-old youth named Vikram from the same village has been caught with oil. Vikram was arrested and presented in the court, from where the court sent him to jail.

SHO Bagdu Ram said- On August 2, a case of oil theft was registered in Sadar police station. Supervisor Shiv Electrical Dabla named Shyamsingh gave a complaint in Police Station Sadar Jaisalmer and said that some thieves have stolen oil from the transformer from GSS located in Janvadh village. Sadar police station registered a case of theft and started investigation.

Taking the incident of oil theft from transformer seriously, a team was formed under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary. Under the leadership of police station in-charge Bagduram, the team tried to trace the mobile phones that were operating at the spot during the theft, based on the tower. On the basis of technical evidence, Vikram’s phone was found active on the spot.
When Vikram was caught and interrogated from Javandh village, he confessed to the theft and also got the stolen oil confiscated. Vikram was presented in the court from where the court sent him to jail. Head constable Jagdish Daan, constable Rambilash, Premdan, Arvind, Sunil and Manohar were helpful in revealing the incident.
