Jaipur : On the second day of the Nimbark Jayanti Mahotsav organized by Sri Nimbark Parishad at Madhobihariji Temple in Chandpol, Mahamandaleshwar Shripadmanabhasaran Devacharya narrated the story of the Acharyas of Nimbark sect. He described the character of Keshav Kashmiri Bhattacharya and told how he conquered India thrice and protected the Hindus at Vishram Ghat in Mathura. After this he introduced the life story of Shribhatta Devacharya and the “Yugalshatak” written by him, which is called “Adivani” in Hindi devotional literature.
Mahamandaleshwar told that to attain God in Nimbarka sect, it is necessary to follow the means like karma, knowledge, devotion and surrender to Hariguru. He said that according to the sect, there are three types of actions – Nitya, Naimittik and Kamya. Following them is considered necessary to attain God. Those who live a life of arbitrariness and beyond the Vedic limits have been called “naked” in the sect. Council President Deveshchandra Swami said that in Tuesday’s story, life stories of Harivyasdev Ji, Parshuramdev Ji and other Acharyas will be narrated. Minister Rashbihari Aggarwal said that hundreds of devotees are listening to the story and enjoying the prasad every day during the festival.
