Samba, 27 November (IANS). Security is being further strengthened in Jammu. Security arrangements have been further tightened in view of the current challenges in the area.
Jammu Zone ADGP Anand Jain on Wednesday held a review meeting with officials of security agencies and officials regarding security in Jammu. Speaking to IANS after the meeting, he said that we have just completed a complete review of the crime. We have to improve the arrangements here keeping security in mind, it has been reviewed. Guidelines have been given to all the officers.
What kind of challenges are there here? On this he said that the challenges are many. Security challenges are continuously increasing in Jammu and Kashmir, but police and security agencies are fully prepared to deal with every situation.
Responding to another question, he said that action has been intensified to break the Over Ground Worker (OGW) network. He said that under this campaign the police has recently achieved many major successes. The action will continue further also. Also reviewed regarding crime.
According to the report, officials of many security agencies including Jammu Kathua Samba Range DIG, SSP Samba Shiv Kumar Sharma were present on this occasion.
