Mumbai, December 2 (IANS). Actor Vikrant Massey, who has proven his acting prowess from the small screen to the big screen, disappointed millions of his fans with one of his posts on Monday. In his post, he has now announced his retirement from the world of acting.
He said in his post on social media platform Instagram, “Hello, the last few years and the times since then have been very good. I thank you all for your support. But, as I move forward, I am realizing that it is time for me to pull myself together again and go back home.”
He further said, “As a husband, father and son and also as an actor. So, in 2025 we will meet each other for one last time. Until the time feels right. Memories of the last 2 films and many years. Thank you all again. For everything and everything that happened in between. I will always be indebted to you.”
This post of his is currently going viral on social media, in which his fans are constantly asking him what are the reasons why he has now decided to retire from the world of acting. That too when his films are continuously winning the hearts of the audience. His films are continuously getting love from the fans, so why did he become disillusioned with acting. This question is troubling his fans.
Although the actor has shown his acting skills in many films. But, he is in the news for his recently released film ‘The Sabarmati Report’. This film, based on the 2002 Godhra incident, was released in theaters on November 15. His acting in the film was very much liked.
Even before this, he has spread the magic of his acting on many OTT platforms. His acting has been appreciated in every film.
Earlier, his film ’12th Fail’ had won the hearts of the audience, in which he played the character of IPS Manoj Sharma, who despite being financially and educationally weak, tries his best to fulfill his dreams. .
