ADJ court heard 7 year old case of Dausa district

Dausa : Sikrai ADJ Court has sentenced two culprits in a seven-year-old case of assault and fatal attack due to rivalry over land dispute. The case is of Khedi Ramla village of Mehandipur Balaji police station area on 13 May 2017. The victim, Rameshwar Meena resident Gagwana, had lodged a report at Balaji police station that his in-laws’ house was in Ramla village. There is a family feud going on regarding land between his father-in-law Badri Prasad and Ramswaroop Meena. His father-in-law has land in the border of Khedi Ramla on Jaipur-Agra National Highway, on which a patol has been built behind the Hanuman temple for 20 years, there is a tube well electricity connection nearby. My in-laws and father-in-law have been living in this Patol for about 12 months.

On May 9, he came to meet his in-laws. His brother-in-law Bhim Singh, Ramkesh, father-in-law Badriprasad, mother-in-law and wife were sleeping. During this time, at around 10:30 pm, Ramswaroop, his son Prem Singh, Deendayal and many other people suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons and sticks. Prem Singh attacked Bhim Singh with a sword, cut off both his hands and his right leg and also brutally beat up other family members. On receiving this information, Balaji police admitted the injured to the hospital.

After registering the case in this regard, the police, after investigation, presented the charge sheet in the court. Additional Public Prosecutor Advocate Tarachand Gurjar said that ADJ Pradeep Kumar, while giving the verdict in the case, sentenced 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of twenty thousand rupees to the convict Deendayal, son of Ramswaroop Meena, resident of Khedi Ramla and another 10 years imprisonment to another convict, Prem Singh, son of Ramswaroop Meena, resident of Meena. Sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of twenty thousand rupees.
