Jaipur : To improve the tarnished image of JDA, the administration has done bumper transfers in two phases. The administration has made an effort to change the face of JDA by transferring more than 125 officers and employees in various cells even on a holiday. As soon as the raid exposed JDA’s corruption, the JDA administration became alert and decided to transfer officers and employees in all the cells of JDA in a hurry.
Till now the officers and employees of these cells have been transferred
Enforcement Officer-7, Junior Engineer-25, Accounts Cell-12, ATP, DTP-10, Zone Deputy Commissioner-9, Ministerial Cell’s 26, Amin Patwari-21, Tehsildar- Naib Tehsildar-8, a dozen officers and employees were relieved from JDA. Two years ago, when a RAS officer was caught taking bribe, JDA had changed its form by making bumper transfers like this. This had definitely given some relief to the people in curbing corruption, but with the passage of time, the same routine started again.

After all, will the current JDA commissioner now find a concrete solution with the help of technology like Rajkaaj software or will we see similar situations again after some time. Will there be any mechanism for complaints against officers and employees involved in corruption? People coming to JDA are raising the same question that even two years ago, the JDA administration had won accolades by doing such bumper transfers, but the complaints of corruption have increased again and the public has not got any relief.
