Alwar : encroachments by politicians, officers and traders have come to light in the flow area of Siliserh. Some have built a whole resort, while some have erected a boundary wall. Now the administration is going to take action against all these 16 hotels-restaurants, resorts etc. That is, encroachments will be removed. These establishments have come to light in the survey of the Water Resources Section. The department officials will mark these establishments for action in two to three days. After that, the administration will take action by providing force and other help to the concerned department. Not only this, the Water Resources Section also has to survey Siliserh every three months so that encroachment does not happen in the flow area of the lake in future. Those hotels which are built in the Sariska buffer area are also coming under the purview of action. In the second phase, action will be taken against the hotels built in the buffer area. Due to the fear of this action, hotel operators are running from politicians to officers.
The issue of various types of encroachment including construction of hotels in the flow area of Siliserh lake was raised. Along with this, hotels were also built in the buffer area of Sariska. When the issue was raised, a survey was conducted of both the cases. This issue was also raised in the Assembly by Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie and Ramgarh MLA Zuber Khan. After that the administration swung into action. Now all preparations are ready to remove the encroachment. The Water Resources Section has conducted a survey regarding encroachment in Siliserh area. Now the department will take further action after marking the encroachment. This process will be completed in two to three days. Whatever help the Water Resources Section needs for removing the encroachment, the administration will provide it.
