Jaipur : To promote admission in homeopathic colleges, the government has reduced the minimum percentile criteria. Now the cut off percentile for each category in NEET UG has been reduced by 15. Currently for NEET general category students have to obtain minimum 50 percentile marks. Whereas for SC/ST/OBC, 35 to 40 percentile is mandatory.
After the new decision issued by the government on Monday, the percentile for general category students has come down to 35. Along with this, the cut-off date for admission has been extended to December 20, 2024, before which all the colleges have to give admission in homeopathic colleges. This order has been issued by the National Homeopathic Commission. Earlier NEET UG required 50 percentile marks.
