Jaipur : The application process for admission to three-year pre-primary classes under elementary education in 402 PM Shri schools in Rajasthan has started from Thursday. Applications can be made till 27th November. Parents can apply for their children in the admission process for this academic year (2024-25). In the first phase in Sriganganagar district, 13 schools were selected under PMShri. The process of admission has started. According to the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Elementary Education, only children aged 3 years and above will be given admission in pre-primary classes. Additional District Education Officer (Educational Cell) in the education office of each district has been appointed as the nodal officer for this process.
This will be the admission program
Guardian persons can specially apply from 21st November to 27th November. The list of applications received on 28th November will be posted on the notice board of the concerned school. After this, lottery of applications for Nursery, LKG and UKG will be held on 29th November. Arrangements have been made to put the list of admitted children on the notice board on November 30, and classes will begin on December 2. Grant of Rs 2 lakh will be given: Every PM Shri School will be given financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for running pre-primary classes. This includes NTT teachers, cleaning staff, teaching materials and office expenses. If the need for additional classes is felt in schools, the proposal will be prepared separately.
This is how classes will be conducted
There will be teaching work of 4 hours daily in these classes, 5 days a week. In the summer session, classes will be conducted from 8 am to 12 noon, while in the winter session, classes will be conducted from 10 am to 2 pm. Only a maximum of 25 children will be admitted in each class. Text books will be provided by the Text Book Board and children residing in PM Shri Schools will get priority in admission.
