Advocate’s ashes stolen from Bundi Mokshadham, family members were stunned when they arrived on the third day

Bundi News Desk: A case of theft of the ashes of a lawyer has come to light on Wednesday from the cremation ground located on Matunda Road in the city. When the family members reached Mokshadham to collect the ashes at around 8 in the morning on the day of Teeya, they found the ashes missing from the pyre, while the ashes were seen scattered, as if someone had scattered them. Seeing this, there was anger among the family members. On receiving the information many people gathered at the spot. After searching around nothing was found. On this the family members reached Sadar police station.

Regarding the matter, Bharat Meena and Yatendra Meena, sons of deceased Kalu Lal Meena, have submitted a report of theft of ashes to the Sadar police station. Hemraj Meena told that on November 18, his neighbor former assistant public prosecutor Kalu Lal Meena had died. All the family members had reached Mokshadham on Wednesday morning to collect the ashes. On the spot, they found bones missing from the pyre, while ashes were also scattered. Despite extensive searching, the bones were not found. In such a situation, anger spread among the people present at the spot. The angry people expressed their displeasure over the lack of security arrangements at Mokshadham.

Mokshadham located on Matunda Road is operated by Red Cross Society. Red Cross Society Secretary Ashok Vijay said that information has been received regarding the ashes of advocate Kalu Lal Meena from Mokshadham crossing the funeral pyre. A watchman has been appointed for security at Mokshadham. How this happened will be found out. The wall of Mokshadham is currently five feet high, which is being increased to eight feet. Cameras will also be arranged there.

Bar president expressed anger

Advocate Council President Bundi Chandrashekhar Sharma expressed his displeasure and called it the negligence of the Red Cross Society. He said that when a watchman is appointed for security in Mokshadham, then how were the ashes stolen? Strong arrangements should be made to prevent such incidents.
