Jaipur : Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda’s visit to Jaipur has been cancelled. Now he is going to review the functioning of the ruling organization in Rajasthan through video conferencing. The reason for the cancellation of this tour has not been revealed yet. But, it has been decided to take feedback through online meeting on Saturday. Apart from Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Deputy CM Diya Kumari, Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa and BJP State President Madan Rathod, many senior leaders are going to attend this meeting.
BL Santosh submitted report to the high command
According to sources, in this meeting to be held this afternoon, many issues including the slow pace of BJP membership campaign, preparations for by-elections and performance of ministers will be discussed. It is being told that Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh had submitted the feedback report of the work done in Rajasthan to the central leadership during his visit to Jaipur. Many issues including power organization activity, membership campaign, assembly by-elections were mentioned in this report. This report is going to be discussed in the meeting today.
CM Bhajanlal had gone to Delhi two days ago
BL Santosh had addressed a meeting organized in Jaipur on Thursday. He said, ‘BJP is an idea-based party, where workers are important. Membership campaign is the first step towards worker creation, hence there is a need to work seriously on it. Create members every day, increase activity at every booth of the division and increase the number of personal ‘referrals’ in the membership campaign. After this meeting, CM Bhajan Lal went to Delhi and met BL Santosh and JP Nadda.
UP, MP, Gujarat, Assam on top
The BJP membership campaign being run across the country seems to be getting the biggest success in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Assam. While sharing the figures of some states, BL Santosh had told on X that in the first phase, BJP’s membership campaign has touched the figure of 4 crores. Uttar Pradesh crossed the mark of one crore and Madhya Pradesh crossed the mark of 50 lakh. Gujarat has already crossed the 50 lakh mark. Assam is moving towards crossing the figure of 35 lakh. BL Santosh described this as an encouraging trend in the first phase of the membership campaign and also praised lakhs of party workers. Although he did not even mention Rajasthan.
