Kota : Rain continued in Kota division and surrounding areas on Monday. In Kota, there was drizzle amidst sunshine and clouds playing hide and seek. On the other hand, in Jhalawar district, on Monday, the fourth day, there was a strong inflow of water in water sources due to rain. Water was drained by opening five gates of Kalisindh dam. There was good rain in Baran in the evening. There was drizzle in Bundi city and good rain in surrounding villages including Keshavrayapatan. In Kota, there was a play of hide and seek between clouds and sunshine on Monday. There was also drizzle amidst this. The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees. Wind blew at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour. After heavy rains in the catchment area of Chambal river, 1 lakh 73 thousand 201 cusecs of water is coming into Gandhi Sagar Dam. Rivers and drains are overflowing in the rural areas of Rawatbhata. Many areas are cut off from the subdivision headquarters.
Alaniya dam is overflowing
Alaniya Dam, a dam with a filling capacity of 33 feet in Cable Nagar area, was filled to the brim on Monday. When the rain started flowing on the dam, the faces of the farmers lit up. Along with the dam being filled to the brim, water has started falling from the waste weir, while the inflow of water into the dam continues.
Water level decreased, sheet flowing on Parvati river culvert
Khatauli. The Parvati river culvert in Khatauli remained submerged in water even on Monday. Due to which the Kota-Sheopur road remained blocked. The water level of the Parvati river decreased, but there was five feet of water on the culvert.
So much water came in the dams
The water level in Gandhi Sagar Dam is rising rapidly. The water level of the dam has reached 1302.90 feet. 21.60 mm rainfall and total rainfall of 792.60 mm has been recorded here. The water level of Rana Pratap Sagar Dam has reached 1151.92. At 6 pm on Monday, 11 thousand 805 cusecs of water was inflow. In the last 24 hours, 38.60 mm rainfall and total rainfall of 963.60 mm has occurred. After the inflow of 12 thousand 567 cusecs of water in Jawahar Sagar Dam, 12 thousand 567 cusecs of water is being drained by generating electricity. 2025 cusecs of water is being drained from Kota Barrage into the right canal and 9890 cusecs of water is being drained by opening the gate.
