After reviewing the development works worth crores of rupees, CM Bhajan Lal suspended two careless officers

Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that negligence at any level will not be tolerated in the departments dealing with the common man. He instructed the officials to not only hold regular public hearings but also ensure solution to their every problem and inform them. In a review meeting held at CM House on Friday to expedite various projects of Sanganer Assembly constituency, the CM said that the outline of the schemes should be prepared keeping in mind future development and requirements.

Instructions to complete electrical work soon

He directed the officials of the Energy Department to complete the necessary action in a time bound manner for construction of 132 kV GSS in Sanganer-Pratap Nagar, undergrounding of power lines and setting up of 33 kV sub-stations in Krishna City, Balaji Vihar, Neemdi Wale Balaji Patrakar Colony Road and Chakrol Ramnagariya Extension.

Block the Bhankrota and Kamla Nehru flyovers soon

The Chief Minister also directed for regular monitoring of the remaining work of Bhankrota flyover and Kamla Nehru flyover to complete it expeditiously. During the review meeting, the progress of 65 works worth more than Rs 1913 crore related to Energy Department, PWD, Medical and Health, Revenue, PHED, Autonomous Government, Water Resources and Urban Development Department was reviewed.

Instructions for the development of Sanganer Stadium

The CM said that JDA and Municipal Corporation should coordinate with each other and complete various works including cleanliness, sewerage, roads so that the general public does not have to face problems. He also gave instructions for proper development of Sanganer Stadium and proper maintenance of the parks in the area. He said that keeping in mind the vision of ‘Heritage as well as development’, the gates of archaeological importance in Sanganer area should be repaired and beautified.

Complete the pending projects soon

The Chief Minister directed the officials to simplify the procedures to reduce unnecessary delays in the projects. Also, the progress should be reviewed at regular intervals. He said that to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay in completing the projects due to pending cases in the court, a meeting should be held with the concerned AG-AAG every 15 days to review the progress of such cases.

Two careless officers of PHED department removed

Expressing displeasure over the large number of pending applications for tap connections in Sanganer Assembly constituency, he directed to remove the Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer of the area due to negligence in work. He directed the officials of the Public Health Engineering Department to organize camps and dispose of the pending cases quickly. He also directed to simplify the process of applying for tap connections.

Bring speed in the beautification of Dravyavati river

The Chief Minister said that the Dravyavati river passes through a large part of Jaipur. He said that a new plan has been announced in the budget to develop the Dravyavati river. He said that the officials of the concerned departments should coordinate with each other and ensure its beautification and repair on time. The CM also directed the officials of the Revenue, Self-Governance, Water Resources and Urban Development Department to complete the ongoing projects in the Sanganer Assembly constituency on time.

Suggestions for removal of meat shop from Jain Atishya area

Public representatives from Sanganer assembly constituency also attended the meeting and gave their feedback on the development work going on in the area. During the meeting, suggestions were also received for construction of culvert on the drain located in Kamla Nehru Nagar keeping in mind the convenience of traffic, widening the 2 km link road up to Diggi Road by 200 feet, proper arrangement of drainage and sewerage in Prithviraj Nagar (North), construction of mini secretariat in Sanganer, increasing the height of the culvert of Maharani Farm-Aggarwal Farm, removing meat shops from the way to Jain Atishya Kshetra in Sanganer.
