Congress’s troubles increased on these 2 seats
By-elections are to be held on seven seats in the state. Two of them, Jhunjhunu and Ramgarh seat of Alwar, are near the Haryana border. In such a situation, it is believed that the impact of Haryana elections can be seen on both these seats. Only Congress MLAs were elected from Jhunjhunu and Ramgarh seats. This seat had become vacant after Jhunjhunu MLA became MP and this seat has become vacant recently due to the death of Ramgarh MLA. Now Congress will have to work twice as hard to repeat its performance here. Apart from this, BJP will also get energy in Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Salumber, Khinvsar and Chaurasi seats.
BJP has one seat out of seven
The seven seats on which by-elections are proposed. Out of them, only one seat, Salumber, was won by BJP in the assembly elections. Amritlal Meena of BJP won the election on this seat. This seat has become vacant due to his death. Apart from this, there were MLAs from Congress, RLP and BAP on six other seats.
Congress leads on 7 by-election seats
Let us tell you about the seven seats on which by-elections are to be held. Congress had won 4 of these. In the rest, RLP’s Hanuman Beniwal had won from Khinvsar and BAP’s Rajkumar Rot had won from Chaurasi seat. BJP was able to win only on Salumber seat. Congress can contest elections under alliance on Chaurasi and Khinvsar seats. Since Congress contested the Lok Sabha elections in alliance with RLP, BAP and CPI.
Now it remains to be seen whether Congress is able to maintain its lead in the by-elections or not? Because now BJP is in power in the state. However, after the formation of the government in the state, Congress had won the by-election on Karanpur seat of Sri Ganganagar.
