Mumbai, November 17 (IANS). Voting will be held in one phase on 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra on November 20. Only one day is left for the election campaign. Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate from Borivali Assembly Sanjay Bhosale spoke to IANS on Sunday. He responded to questions related to his claim and Maharashtra Assembly elections.
In response to a question asked regarding the atmosphere and elections in Borivali assembly seat, he said, “I am very grateful to Uddhav Thackeray that he has expressed confidence in me and given me a ticket to contest the elections from here. I assure I am sure that development work will be done in the area.”
Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate has said that the people living in this assembly want change. The MLAs who live here are bound by the contract system. He was an MLA for five years and another MLA for five years. Due to this, the development work that should have been done here has not been done. Being a local here, I have a lot of support from people. Workers of Maha Vikas Aghadi have landed here. I think history will be created on this seat.
Traditionally, BJP has dominated this seat. Sanjay Bhosle has said that there is a lot of anger among the people here. They wanted a local candidate. I am local from here, there is public support. If I win, work will be done on water problems, traffic and other problems here quickly. Despite having BJP MLA and MP here, people have to yearn for basic facilities. After winning the elections, my first issue will be to solve the problems of the local people.
