Agnimitra Paul expressed grief over Jhansi accident, said

Ranchi, 16 November (IANS). West Bengal BJP leader Agnimitra Paul expressed grief over the death of 10 newborns in an accident at the Medical College in Jhansi. He said in a statement on Saturday that this is sad. In this case, the exact cause of the accident will be known only after investigation.

BJP leader Agnimitra Paul said, “The Jhansi incident is sad. Under the rule of PM Modi and CM Yogi, the culprits will definitely be punished. I stand with the families of the victims in this time of grief. The central and state governments have provided financial assistance to the victims. Assistance has also been announced. The reason behind the Jhansi accident will be revealed after investigation.”

Agnimitra Paul also targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said, “Mamata Banerjee has said the right thing, she knows everything. Guru Rabindranath Tagore died in 1941, but Mamata Banerjee said that in 1947, she had given fruit juice to Mahatma Gandhi in Beliaghata, Kolkata. If Mamata Banerjee has said this then we have to believe it. Mamata Banerjee is saying that India did not get any gold medal in the Olympics, so we have to accept it as true.”

He raised questions on the West Bengal government regarding the attack on Trinamool Congress councilor Sushant Ghosh. He said, “There is no law and order under Trinamool rule in West Bengal. After the 2021 elections, when 60 BJP workers were brutally murdered, the NHRC had come and said that there is no rule of law here.” In fact, it is the administration’s rule. Even yesterday (Friday), we saw that Trinamool’s goons are murdering their councilors. Today, this is the condition of those who have security and police. Then what security will the common man have in Bengal?

He said that the job of the police is to catch goons, thieves and murderers, but here they are part of Mamata Banerjee’s vote machinery. Elections are to be held in the state in 2026 and before that, such people have been employed who will capture booths and threaten BJP leaders. The law and order situation in the state is bad.”
