Agreement on MOU worth Rs 63 thousand crore under Rising Rajasthan, created a stir everywhere from country to abroad

Jaipur : MoUs worth Rs 63 thousand 463 crore were signed in the Rising Rajasthan Pre Summit of the Mines and Petroleum Department in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. On this occasion, in the MoU ceremony, MoUs were exchanged between Principal Secretary Mines T. Ravikant and Director Mines Bhagwati Prasad Kalal on behalf of the state government and representatives of the concerned institutions that signed the MoU.

Employment will increase through investment

The Chief Minister said that we have created a favorable environment for industrial investment in the state. This will lead to progress, economic development and employment opportunities of the state. While discussing the foreign trip, CM said that the representatives of Japan told that they are earning good profits in Rajasthan. Similarly, other companies including Korean Stone Company of Korea have also shown interest in investing in Rajasthan. Domestic and foreign companies working in Rajasthan should invest their profits for industrial development in the state itself so that new opportunities for investment and employment can be developed in the state.

Auction of 32 mineral blocks in 7 months
Further, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the state has huge reserves of various minerals including gold, silver, lead, zinc, marble, granite. LOI has been issued to Uranium Corporation of India for mining of uranium in Rohil, Sikar. Whereas reserves of the rarest mineral rare earth element have been found in Barmer, Jalore, Nagaur etc. A Center for Excellence is going to be established to promote REE. In the last seven months alone, we have become first in the country by auctioning 32 major mineral blocks.
