Ajmer : Ajmer Catholic religious people will celebrate the festival of Christ the King on 24th November. During this, the procession will leave from St. Paul’s School at 3.30 pm. It will reach the Immaculate Conception Church via various routes. Father Cosmos Shekhawat said that as per tradition, a procession of Christ the King will be taken out on 24th November. Holy Christ Worship will be held at St. Paul’s School. After this, Catholic followers will accompany the procession singing Bible verses and devotional songs. The procession will pass through St. Mary’s Convent School, Naseerabad Road, Martindale Bridge, St. Francis Hospital and reach Immaculate Conception Church located in St. Anselm’s School campus. Here candles will be lit in front of the statue of Mother Mary at the Parish Priest.

Representatives from Kanakhedi Church, Bhavanikheda, Hathikheda, Madar Church, Karunalaya, Parbatpura Church, Ladpura, Narbadkheda Church including Sophia College, Sophia Senior Secondary School, Sophia Bhatta School, St. Paul’s Beawar, St. Paul’s Bijaynagar, St. Anselm’s and other institutions will participate. With the procession of Christ the King, followers of Christ will start preparing for Christmas. Apart from colour-paint, Christmas cakes containing dry fruits and other ingredients will be made in homes. Carol singing will start from the first fortnight of December. Groups of youth will go to the streets and sing carols. Will distribute toffees to children. Apart from this, there will also be a period of shopping in the markets.
