Ajmer News Desk: A fine of Rs 6 lakh has been imposed by the Additional District Magistrate against the concerned people for selling non-standard food item flavored milk in Ajmer Railway coach. About two years ago, the food safety officer tested it and found it adulterated. Adjudication Officer and Additional District Magistrate Jyoti Kakwani said – The food items sold in train number 16531 Ajmer Yesvantpur Garib Nawaz Express on June 12, 2023 were examined by the Food Safety Officer. Investigation revealed adulteration in UHT toned flavored milk-almond Nandini Good Life. Its sample was collected. Upon investigation it was found to be adulterated and non-standard. This affects the health of the general public.
In such a situation, a fine of Rs 50,000 has been imposed on Ramashankar Singh, a food business owner of the train, food business company Doon Caters Paharganj, New Delhi, Sushil Tandon, owner of a food business company, Dehradun, and a fine of Rs 50,000 has been imposed against food distribution firm Padmavati Caters, Yesvantpur, Karnataka, and the owner of a distribution firm, Naparam Yesvantpur. A fine of thousand rupees has been imposed. Also, food products manufacturing company Hassan Co-operative Milk Producer Society Hassan Karnataka and company manager Suresh B.S. A fine of Rs 5 lakh has been imposed against him.
