Ajmer Discom’s outstanding revenue recovery campaign will continue till 30

Ajmer : Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam will start Sati from Tuesday for payment of outstanding bills. Ajmer Electricity Distribution Corporation will conduct revenue collection campaign till 30th November. During this period, connections of consumers who do not pay the bills will be disconnected. In the campaign, special emphasis will be given to consumers with high outstanding dues.

Targets assigned to officials

Managing Director of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, K.P. Verma has set targets for the officers to recover dues from all categories of consumers. Verma said that all the officers-employees up to the feeder in-charge level and Vigilance Wing personnel have been instructed to collect 100 percent revenue till the month of October. Action will be taken against sub-divisions that fail to achieve revenue collection targets. Public Relations Officer Satish Soni said that AO (Revenue) will present the consolidated progress of the campaign to the MD.

Will have to visit two divisions

Managing Director KP Verma has instructed all the Superintending Engineers (PVS) to visit two sub-divisions every week to review and improve the functioning of the Discom. During the visit, the interests of the consumers and employees are taken care of. Security, increase in revenue, strengthening of power system and implementation of various schemes will have to be inspected. The compiled report of the review will have to be sent to the concerned Divisional Chief Engineer on Monday of the coming week.
