Ajmer : Ajmer Discom will start strict action for payment of outstanding bills from tomorrow Tuesday. Revenue collection campaign will be conducted between 26th and 30th November. During this period, connections of consumers who do not pay the bills will be disconnected. In the campaign, special emphasis will be given to the consumers with high dues. Targets have been set by the Managing Director KP Verma for the officers to recover the ongoing dues of all categories of consumers of the Discom. In the campaign, all O&M officers and employees up to feeder in-charge and Vigilance wing personnel have been instructed to collect 100 percent revenue till the month of November. If any sub-division fails to achieve the targets of revenue collection then strict disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against the concerned.
Public Relations Officer Satish Soni said that the campaign will be closely monitored by the SE (O&M) for monitoring and progress reports. The progress will be presented to the AO (Revenue) by the respective circle AO (O&M) and the consolidated progress will be presented to the MD by Ajmer and AO (Revenue). Similarly, Managing Director KP Verma has informed all the Superintending Engineers (SEEs). ) has been ordered to visit two sub-divisions under his circle every week and review the current works.
