Ajmer News Desk: There is confusion among the students regarding the dates of Ajmer half-yearly examinations and winter vacations. Half-yearly examinations are to be conducted in schools from December 17 to December 27, but winter vacation has been declared from December 25 to January 5 in the Education Department’s Shivra Panchang.
In such a situation, students and schools are confused whether there will be a holiday on 26th and 27th December or whether the examinations will be conducted. While 25th is Christmas holiday. State President of Rajasthan Teachers Association Radhakrishnan Vijay Soni has drawn the attention of the education department officials whether there will be examinations or holidays? Will winter holidays be extended beyond January 5? Soni said that no order has been received regarding winter vacation amendment. In Shivra Panchang, the dates of half-yearly examinations are fixed from 12th to 24th December. This almanac has been issued by the Director of Education. The teachers union demands that the examinations should be conducted as per the dates fixed in the calendar.
