Ajmer: Married woman found hanging in her in-laws house, case registered

Ajmer : A married woman was found hanging under suspicious circumstances in her in-laws’ house in Ajmer River-II village on Sunday morning. Mangliyawas police station kept the body in the mortuary of JLN Hospital, where the Pihar side created a ruckus by raising suspicion of murder. The police registered a case of murder on the report of the father and got the post-mortem done by the medical board and handed over the body to the Pehar side. According to the police, Surja, wife of Daulat Kahar, resident of Nadi-II near Saradhna, was found hanging in her in-laws house at 5.30 am on Sunday.

The daughter was the first to see the deceased hanging and informed her father. On the information of the family, Mangliyawas police station incharge Surendra Singh, ASI Goparam, constable Shankarlal reached the spot. The married woman’s father Raichand (80), a resident of Srinagar Balad, and his family members also arrived. He expressed suspicion of hanging the dead body on the in-laws’ side. Police took the body to the mortuary of JLN Hospital. Where Circle Officer (Ajmer Rural) Ramchandra Chaudhary got the post-mortem of the body done by the Medical Board and handed it over to the Pihar side. The Pihar side cremated the body in Srinagar. The police registered a case on the father’s complaint and started investigation.

Kamlesh told that his sister Surja was married to Daulat Kahar, resident of Nadi-II, 8 years ago. Daulat works in Ajmer flower market. He has a son and daughter. On receiving information, they reached the spot and took the body into custody. A case of murder has been registered on the complaint of Pehar side. After post-mortem was done by the medical board, the body was handed over to Pehar Paksha. Research is being done in the matter.
