Ajmer : It does not seem possible to start the applications for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) proposed in February next year from December 1. Reason, Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, the nodal agency of this examination, has not yet received the authorized letter from the state government. In such a situation, now the date for the application for this examination is expected to be released for the third time. There is a possibility that the new date will be released after the government approves the release for the application for REET in the meeting to be held in Jaipur on Tuesday. Let it be done. More than 10 lakh candidates are waiting for REET in the state. The government and the board are definitely making preparations at their level regarding REET. The board is also preparing a release. He is also busy finalizing the curriculum. But it is not being made public at the moment.
Board Secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma said – Until the Board receives the letter from the government regarding the authorized nodal agency, the Board cannot perform various necessary tasks including hiring the agency for online application. Now the third meeting regarding REET is going to be held in Jaipur on 26th November. Only after this some new decisions can come regarding REIT.
2 meetings were held, different dates of application were proposed
Two high level meetings have been held in Jaipur regarding REET. Along with the Board Secretary, top officers of the Education Department participated in these. The first meeting was held in Jaipur on 10 October. After this meeting, Education Minister Madan Dilawar had informed that REET can be organized around January 20. Applications for REET can be started in late October or early November. But, as per the first announcement, neither REET is being held in January nor applications can be started in November.
The current announcement is to start from December 1st.
After this, another meeting was held in Jaipur after about a month on 9 November. Even after this high level meeting, news came quoting the Education Minister that REET applications will be started from December 1. REET can be organized in February. The date of REET exam has not been announced yet.

According to official sources of the board, the board will hire the agency for the application only after receiving the authorized letter. For this, a proper tender process will have to be adopted. This may take more than a week. In such a situation, it does not seem possible to start the application process from December 1st. A new date can be given for the third time.
