Later, the checks were dishonored by the accused after making stop payment. After the complainant lodged a report at the Clock Tower police station, the police submitted an FR in the court in 2011, saying that no case was made out. The complainant recently presented written arguments along with the protest petition in the court through lawyers Ranjit Singh and Avinash Tanwar.

IO did not seize the agreement

In the written debate, the research officer said that even the disputed confession was not recovered. It was also told in the debate that the accused deliberately made stop payment of the check and did not pay the amount to the complainant. The police did not do any research even with the witnesses. The court rejected the FR and summoned the accused with a bailable warrant.
