Ajmer News Desk: Despite crores of rupees being spent on the sewerage work of the city to be done under Smart City, the condition of sewerage has not improved. Even now the work of laying about 25 km of line in pieces is incomplete. In this, work is being done on the joint of 31 km line in the city zone. Many areas have to be connected in this and at some places the joints are incomplete. Similarly, in many areas of Anasagar area, the work of more than 5 km line is still incomplete.
Joint connectivity work started
These days the sewerage team of the corporation is engaged in joint connectivity work in many areas. In fact, the main line and smaller lines leading to it outside the house have been laid in these areas several months ago. But a few feet away and the connection work to the houses is incomplete.
Anasagar Zone
Joints of lines are to be connected from Sagar Vihar to Pushkar Road, Ramnagar, Nagfani and some parts of Rishi Valley. Under Chhatri Yojana, connections are being added in areas like Gyan Vihar, Sagar Vihar, Dwarka Nagar, Engineer Nagar, Haribhau Upadhyay Nagar and Extension etc.

There is still confusion among many people
There is still a misconception in many settlements that sewerage connections are not to be made, due to which there is a fear of spreading diseases, but this needs to be removed. Due to this, there is obstruction in connecting houses in many places.
