Ajmer : Ajmer On the complaint of sale of cheap liquor in expensive liquor bottles, on the orders of Excise Commissioner Nakate Shiv Prakash, big outlets of liquor sale across the state were searched on Thursday. Till late night the Excise Department team checked the liquor stock and their billing of big outlets of Ajmer, Jaipur and Udaipur. The team took action under the leadership of District Excise Officer Nagaur at Liquor Mart located in Vaishali Nagar in Ajmer. This action will continue on Friday morning also. On Thursday afternoon, the excise team under the leadership of District Excise Officer, Nagaur Manoj Bissa reached Liquor Mart located at Vaishali Nagar, Gaurav Path, LIC Colony. The team, after verifying the stock of branded English liquor, started checking the bills of branded liquor kept in the outlet. The excise team remained busy in action till ten o’clock in the night. The Liquor Mart outlet was taken into custody until the departmental team completed its investigation.
Special investigation team formed: Investigation revealed that the Excise Commissioner was recently receiving complaints of sale of cheap liquor in blacklisted expensive English brand bottles in the state. On this, a special investigation team has been formed to investigate the outlets and orders have been given to take action. Vaishali Nagar Liquor Mart is being investigated on the orders of the Excise Commissioner. The investigation is still pending. Will start again on Friday morning. The situation will become clear after the action is completed.
