Ajmer Water Resources Department took shutdown for Bisalpur line maintenance

Ajmer : Ajmer A 24-hour shutdown has been taken from 4 am on Saturday for line maintenance under Bisalpur Drinking Water Project. Due to maintenance work being done in the first and second phase lines, there will be no water supply till the morning of 1st December.

According to Executive Engineer Vinod Yadav, in the first phase of this project of Bisalpur Ajmer, repair work of 1500/1200 mm PSCC pipeline laid from Thadoli to Nasirabad will be done. During this period, 4 leakages from Thadoli to Kekdi, 2 leakages from Kekdi to Goyla and 8 leakages from Goyla to Nasirabad will be repaired. Besides, maintenance work will also be done at various pump houses and switch yards of the project. During this period, the 1500 mm MS pipeline laid in the second phase will remain operational. Due to the shutdown, about 80 MLD water will be produced less and the supply will be partially disrupted in the urban areas of Ajmer, Nasirabad, Beawar, Kishangarh, Kekdi and Sarwad from Saturday evening till the morning of 1st December.
