Ajmer will administer polio vaccine at booth 1244 on 8th December

Ajmer : Ajmer Under the National Pulse Polio Campaign, a target has been set to immunize 265668 children (up to 5 years of age) in Ajmer district by administering two drops of biovalent oral polio vaccine. Under the Pulse Polio campaign on December 8, polio doses will be administered at 1244 booths in the district. Polio Vaccination Day will also be celebrated. Preparations have been made by the Medical and Health Department on the instructions of District Collector Lok Bandhu. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Jyotsna Ranga, District Reproductive and Child Health Officer Dr. Shinde Swati have created awareness among the parents to immunize children in the age group of 0 to 5 and urged them to get polio doses administered at the booth. India was declared polio free on March 27, 2014, but since polio cases are still being reported in neighboring countries, Pulse Polio campaign is being run. The district level program will be organized in Ajmer.
