Ajmer youth climbed on the tank, police brought him down after persuasion

Ajmer News Desk: A disgruntled account holder on Thursday climbed on the water tank under construction in nearby Vijayaraje Scindia Nagar in the matter of land in exchange for land in the much awaited Prithviraj Nagar scheme of Ajmer Development Authority. He kept on expressing his pain by screaming at the tank for about five hours. Later the area residents informed the police. Christianganj police station and ADA Deputy Commissioner Suryakant Sharma reached the spot. The police pacified him and brought him down. At present no case has been registered. Investigation of the matter has been started. According to the information, after acquiring land in Prithviraj Nagar Yojana from Chaurasiyawas resident Suleman, son of Jumma, he was given a plot in G Block but he is not satisfied with it. He has been making rounds of the department for the last 15 years for a commercial plot near his ancestral land near 160 feet road. He says that 25 percent of the land is given in exchange for the land, while he is ready to take 15 percent of the land at the desired site in exchange.

Got the plot in 2017, but dissatisfied

Deputy Commissioner (North) of Ajmer Development Authority Suryakant Sharma said that Suleman’s ancestral land is also included in the acceptance of Prithviraj Nagar scheme. ADA has allotted plot number 17 in G Block to Suleman. As per rules, instead of 194 yards, a plot of 200 square yards was given. He has to deposit the difference amount of only six square yards of land. Suleman was not satisfied with this.

demand for commercial plot

ADA officials say Suleman is seeking a commercial plot near 160 feet road. There is land for community building and road. Despite this, if he makes any complaint then the authority can hear it as per rules. Acts like climbing on the tank or risking life or showing fear come under the category of crime. This is not fair.
