Mumbai, December 11 (IANS). The trailer of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s first film as director ‘Baroj’ has been launched. Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ fame actor Akshay Kumar also attended the launch event held in Mumbai. Mohanlal welcomed Akshay by hugging him.
Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar posed together for the camera after the event. The Bollywood star who arrived at the event was wearing sunglasses with a white shirt and khaki pants, in which he was looking quite good.
Mohanlal looked handsome in a blazer with a white shirt and dark blue pants.
‘Baroj’ is going to be released in theaters on December 25. The film stars Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kalliroy, Tuhin Menon and Guru Somasundaram among others in important roles.
The production of the film ‘Baroj’ started in March 2021. The film has been shot in Bangkok, Kochi, Goa and Chennai as well as other places in the country.
Talking about Akshay Kumar’s work front, after ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, the actor is once again ready to give a lot of entertainment to the audience with the horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’.
The actor had revealed on December 10 that he is excited to be on the sets with his favorite director Priyadarshan and has started shooting for his upcoming film ‘Bhoot Bangla’.
The poster of the film has been released recently. By sharing the new poster on Instagram, the actor had informed the curious fans about the release date of the film. The film will be released on 2 April 2026.
Akshay wrote in the caption, “Extremely excited to be on the sets with my favorite Priyadarshan. We are starting the shooting of our horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ today. Till then, we need your best wishes.”
Along with Akshay, other stars including actors Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav will be seen in important roles in the film. The casting process is still going on, with three actresses to be selected.
The actor had shared the motion poster of the film on his Instagram account on September 9. In the poster, Akshay Kumar is seen carrying a bowl filled with milk and a black cat standing on his shoulder.
Akshay has given many blockbuster films with Priyadarshan. The list of these films includes ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘De Dana Dan’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Garam Masala’ and ‘Khatta Meetha’.
