Alert issued in Rajasthan regarding Nipah virus, know its symptoms

Jaipur : After the detection of Nipah virus in Kerala and the death of a patient, an alert has been issued in Rajasthan as well. Director of Health Directorate Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur has issued an order alerting all the medical college principals, CMHO, PMO of the state. Along with this, instructions have also been given to keep an eye on the passengers traveling from Kerala. According to the orders, instructions have been given to detect the suspected patients coming to the hospital and send their information. According to the doctors, in this case, the patients complain of severe headache and fever.

Its symptoms can become severe over time. There can be an increased risk of brain infection or encephalitis. Let us tell you that the Nipah virus is spread by bats. There is a high risk of its spread by eating fruits eaten by bats. It spreads not only from animals, but also from one infected person to another. Till now there is no treatment or vaccine (injection) available for it.
